JÜRGEN O. OLBRICH

Jürgen O. Olbrich (nacido el 25 de noviembre de 1955 en Bielefeld) es un artista visual, editor y curador alemán. Vive y trabaja en Kassel. Olbrich ha estado activo en la plataforma de comunicación mundial de la red Mail Art desde la década de 1970. Es un representante destacado de la poesía concreta y visual y un artista del copy art. En 1987 participó en la Documenta 8 de Kassel y se hizo conocido internacionalmente. En 1989 inició su ciclo de trabajo Paper-Police. Para este proyecto a largo plazo, él recoge de los contenedores de papel de Kassel lo que otros desechan y agrupa y empaqueta una amplia variedad de objetos encontrados. For this long-term project, he collects from Kassel paper containers what others discard and groups and packages a wide variety of found objects.
